About Our Speakers

John Avlon is an award-winning journalist, author, and media executive. A former CNN senior political analyst, Daily Beast editor-in-chief, and 2024 congressional nominee, he now hosts How to Fix It on The Bulwark and serves as Chairman of the Citizens Union. Avlon’s six books include Lincoln and the Fight for Peace and Washington’s Farewell.

His CNN series Reality Check won the 2023 New York Press Club Award for best TV commentary. Earlier, he served as chief speechwriter to New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.


S.E. Cupp is a nationally syndicated columnist, author, podcaster, and TV commentator.  She is host of the nighty television show "Battleground NYC: The Fight For Your Vote," which covers the NYC mayoral election for Fox local stations. Cupp hosts a successful podcast at iHeart, Off the Cupp, and is a columnist at the New York Daily News.

She is currently a political commentator at CNN, where she’s hosted several shows, including “Outside with Insiders,” “Crossfire,” and most recently “Unfiltered with S.E. Cupp.” Before CNN, she co-hosted “The Cycle” on MSNBC. She authored Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media’s Attack on Christianity and co-wrote Why You’re Wrong About the Right.


Ed Cox is Chairman of the New York State Republican Party and a lawyer with decades of service in public life. He has advised three U.S. Presidents and four New York Governors, led GOP redistricting and campaign efforts that reshaped New York politics, and played key roles in presidential races from Nixon to Reagan to Trump.

A member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Secretary of the Economic Club of New York, Cox has written on law and public policy for The Wall Street Journal, The New Republic, and other publications.


Molly Jong-Fast is an MSNBC Political Analyst, Host of the Fast Politics Podcast, a Vanity Fair Special Correspondent and a contributing writer for The New York Times Opinion. Molly is an American writer, journalist, author, political commentator and podcaster.
