Update on Iran

featuring Richard Haass

President Emeritus of Council on Foreign Relations. Fmr. Director of Policy Planning for the Department of States

Thursday, March 19th, 5-6pm ET, on Zoom

Richard Haass joins The Common Good Forum to discuss the war with Iran, progress and problems, and how we should assess this action so far.

What do we know about the reaction of Iranians who have long hoped for change? Are we veering toward a prolonged confrontation with Iran, and ships and trade essentially blocked from continuing through the Strait of Hormuz? Are we at risk of a wider regional conflict and greater involvement of other powers such as Russia? What do Iran’s neighbors want out of this?

Join us Thursday for this urgent conversation with one of America’s leading foreign policy thinkers. Bring your questions.
