In Congress, he has emerged as a strong advocate for institutional integrity, democratic reform, and smart, principled oversight.
As the Democratic Party looks ahead to the 2026 elections and beyond, Goldman’s perspective is vital to understanding the party’s evolving strategy—both in countering authoritarian threats and in reconnecting with voters through a message of justice, competence, and democratic resilience.

About Our Speaker
Congressman Dan Goldman represents New York’s 10th Congressional District, covering Lower Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn. Elected in 2022, he is a leading advocate for government accountability, national security, and the rule of law. Before Congress, Goldman served as lead counsel in the first impeachment of President Donald Trump and spent a decade as a federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York. He currently serves on the House Committees on Oversight and Homeland Security, where he focuses on protecting democratic institutions and combating corruption. A graduate of Yale University and Stanford Law School, he lives in Manhattan with his wife, Corinne, and their five children.
